What kind of gun is this?

    This belonged to my wife's great-grandfather. At first I thought Derringer until realizing those were single shots. Any idea? Probably late 1800s.

    Looks a lot like an early Colt .32 law man's revolver. The shortened stock can be used as a club for whacking people instead shooting them.
