so a POV camera I would suggest a gopro on my personal opninion. I have to of the hero 3's that we use and they were great, quality is second to none. Also epic cam is something to look into, I don't know much about them but I know the guys on the staff team use them.

I have an Epic Instant On and its great. It doesnt have the accessories that GoPro has but it has what you need to hunt!!! It takes great video and is cheaper than a GoPro!!

another thing that is nice about the gopro hero 3 series is that if you have a iphone, you can get a app for free so you can control it via phone!

The epic instant on also comes with a remote so you can have it up to 60ft away from you and you can start and stop recording from where you are. The LED is green when not recording and blue when recording so you know when it is on and not.

    Good Luck!!

GoPro is great. I have a Hero2 and a Hero3. Tons of mounting options. Easy to control via app or remote. And they can survive alot of abuse.

I have two EpicCam's and they are great. The remote feature is awesome and being able to turn on multiple cameras with a single remote is great. I have been very pleased with them so far!

Liquid Image EGO cam, does everything that the above cameras do, about half the size of a gopro.. And it's around $180. Does 720 or 1080p as well, with wifi remote linked to your phone.
