Been hunting out of lock-ons and ladder stands for quite a while now. I don't care to much for climbers, they make me nervous

I use mostly hang-ons. I have 2 ladder stands up, but they are mainly for my dad to use during gun season. I will hunt a few times out of them though.

I have both hang ons and one ladder stand. Started out borrowing one from my buddie. Then i purchased my first own ladder stand a rivers edge. Then shortly after i got a hang on, but i much perfer my ladder stand, easy to set up and i feel MUCH MUCH more stable in it then a hang on.

Started out using ladder stands then went and bought a hang on so I could get about 23' in a tree once. I loved it so when the season ended last year I went to Rural King and bought 5 hang ons for 30 bucks each. I've since purchased more and right now I have probably 10 hang ons, 2 buddy stands, and 4 regular 15-17' ladders out in the woods.

I use primary hang on stand with ladders. Have been getting Lone Wolf stands and sticks over the last couple of years as the ones I have had for years are getting a little rusty.

I did buy 2 ladder stands this year and I am impressed with the Ameristep Ladder...easy to put together and very stable.
