What keeps you in the stand?

Whether it's the Natural Wildlife, the anticipation of that monster, or anything else; post it here.

For me, it would have to be the wildlife. While I'm hunting, I love to observe the birds, chipmunks, and other creatures.

 

Wildlife, deer and my thoughts.

Also, the basic perspective of sitting in a tree - love it.

 

With being so busy this last year the getaway factor is everything to me.
I will be straight up and say that I have kind of been looking past bow season to my
annual 12 day gun trip to northern Wisconsin. Dont get me wrong I am still putting my time
in for bow season as I am on my 22nd sit this coming Monday. I guess you could call
it being a family man and that is what comes first especially with 2 sons.

 

The thought of a 150" buck walking by me at any moment.

Bingo .... to kill a deer .... I love taking in all the wildlife, but after a few hours, squirrels bore me :D

I have a taste for blood ...to take the life out of a big game animal that I can then share with my family and friends ... there is NOTHING like it ...BTW, I believe the kill IS the reason we are out there ...whether we dress it up as something else or not

 

Its a simple concept really

 

I have no place better to be.
