I'm out of shape and weight too damn much at 6ft, 215 lbs.... With moderate exercise I can stay in the 200 lb range and I'm fine with that. It would take too much dedication to go sub 200 and I just don't have the motivation....... My high school weight was 175, so I'm a solid 40 lbs over that.
don't feel bad DC, I got married just a couple weeks before my 30th bday at about 170lbs... 10yrs later I peaked at 240 (that was only a couple months ago)... marriage, kids, and a desk job take its toll once you hit 30... i'm down to about 223 right now, but as I've said, i need to drop another 25-30lbs to get back to "fightin" weight...
I'm 6'1" 210 lbs of twisted steel and sex appeal. I lift Mon-Thurs and run 3 times a week. I eat healthy for the most part and try to take care of myself. I was getting in better cardio shape for our annual Colorado elk trip but unfortunately my hunting buddy's wife is prego and is having complications. He doesn't want to be 700 miles away with less than a month left for her term. I generally lose about 10-12 lbs during hunting season b/c of a combination of less working out/spending more time in the stand and eating less.
100% Sex machine....Modern day Casanova Actually im about 6' and 167 lbs. Skinny as all get out. I need to pack in some meat. Im in good physical shape though, as i play alot of basketball in the summer.
WOW- You guys are all lightweights.I'm 6'4" and weigh about 340.Used to weigh 280 and that wasn't bad but a brain injury in 06' took most of my energy away and keeps me on the couch with migraine headaches. Good thing I can still get out in the woods once in a while, but it's not like it used to be.
I'm 6' and weigh like 220... started p90x recenlty. Trying to shed about 20 and get back to fightin' weight :D
I should ban you for ever having taken that picture let alone posting it on a hunting forum. What is wrong with you, man? Turn in your man card to the front desk immediately. :mad1:
I'm with Dusty Bottoms on this one. 5'11", 215 right now. Cutting back on the carbs and doing some mountain biking trying to get back under 2 hundo by August 1st.
work keeps me in pretty good shape. im a fairly big boy 6'4" 270lbs. does get a little tough in some of the smaller stands/climbing sticks
5'8" and 160 lbs. I'm usually pretty steady about my weight/health. My wife being a personal trainer and nutritionist definitely helps. I see a lot of guys mentioning a lack of time. It definitely gets a LOT tougher to make time as we get older with more responsibilities and growing families. The key for those with less time is to focus on workouts that boost metabolism and take less than 30 minutes a day. My cardio workouts take 8-9 minutes and have done more to lose/maintain weight than when I used to run 4-5 miles. You want workouts that burn calories the other 23.5 hours you aren't exercising. That and diet, but that is a whole nother animal.
I happen to look like a 55 gallon drum @ 5' 5" and 175 lbs of love - baby! Stocky / husky, all I can say, is if you hook a deer up to my back and I turn into a tractor with my little stumpy legs traggin' away...!!!
41 yrs old this Oct. 6'1" Weight ranges from 178# to 190 depending on time of year. Workout March-August. Usually weigh the least by the end of September then as fall rolls around with lack of sleep and eating the wrong things during deer season I start to gain weight and by Feb. I am usually back to 185-190. I would like to eat better this fall and winter.
Since round is a shape, I would consider myself in shape. All kidding aside, I gained 50lbs last year while the wife was preggo. She dropped hers and looks amazing. I on the other hand, have only continued to buy new jeans (bigger sizes). I am currently 6'2 at 285 and would love to get back down between 230 and 240. Hoever, to do it, I think I am going to have to stop talking about it and start running, but talking is so much easier.
5'5 120 lbs. I've lost all I can lose due to football camp. But walking up hills and ridges with an extra 20 lbs. worth of hunting stuff gets you a bit sweaty, well last I checked.
I'm 5' 10" and weigh 195lbs. I'd like to drop another 10 lbs while exposing my 6-pack from the insulation thats covering it. lol
