    sighted in at 20-30-40.
but still looking for my first kill. a thirty yard shot would be pretty comfortable tho. if conditions were perfect.

I practice most at 30-40 yds.

I think my average distance for a kill is 13 yds. and I've only shot maybe a handful 20 or over.

I used to say my max range was 25 yds, but now I don't even care to give it a number. Max on a deer is different than that of an elk. If I feel like shooting, I might, if not, I won't.

Max. Range when practicing is 70 yards. Max range in a hunting situation - between 35-40 yards - but it just depends on the situation. Average shot distance on about 50 whitetails would be about 15 yards.

28 yards or so. Anything over 30 I begin to really weigh all the factors. I average right around 15-20 yards on most of my kills.

    During a hunting situation 30 yds. I prefer a 15-20 yd. shot!

What distances do you practice most? 40 yards
-What is most common distance you harvest game? averaging everything, I 'd say 25 to 35 yards
What is typcially your MAX range when hunting? 60 yards (if all is right on elk size animals). I am certainly not opposed to putting a second arrow into an elk from any distance if the chance presents itself. This has happened to me twice...80 and 88 yards-both hit the mark.
