Each to their own
Hard = Loud
Soft = Quiet
In my younger years, I used to carry my bow in a case that was essentially a camo bed sheet with a zipper. I treat my bow like its my baby at all times so I don't need a hard case for protection. Although it would be nice for long hunting trips in the truck but I don't take many of those.
Lakewood Bowfile is my case of choice these days

I have this one and I LOVE it! Not hard, but it's rigid with lots of room for storage. Keeps the bow in place very well.
Anyone have any issues with those Lakewood Bowfile cases when used for air travel?
SKB has a good protection claim, and that is a huge selling point. That being said, I am considering a Bowfile because I like the drop in design.
