It is hard to beat fresh roasted broccoli. Or fresh spinach. Or fresh grilled sweet corn. Or fresh grilled asparagus. Or a cold cucumber salad in the summer. Or a squash and zucchini quiche.
How the hell should I know how she talks. EVOO was shorter then typing extra virgin olive oil...one handed on an iPhone
Well the question is whats your favorite vegetable. I see a lot of guys on here didn't read the question because they are listing corn as their favorite. Corn is not a vegetable it is a grain. Also if it were not considered a grain then fruit would be the next class it would fall in. That being said taters are my favorite vegetable.
I knew someone would bring that up. It's really not worth arguing about... Please settle a dispute. Is sweet corn a vegetable or a grain? What is the difference? How about field corn? - eXtension
All time favorite would be fresh sweet corn....from the neighbor down the road that sells it. Have been getting it from them since I was a kid, now my kids are getting to enjoy it as well. Second would be a tomato. Absolutely LOVE BLT's or just throw a little salt and pepper on them, maybe a lil mayo too.
Technically corn is a vegetable if it is harvested early to be eaten and a grain if it is harvested when its dried.
I would say potato but I don't consider it a veggie. So I will say broccoli, or asparagus, or mushrooms. But then again are mushrooms even a veggie?
As long as we're being flexible on definitions of vegetable here, I'll say Beer. And my wife wants to vote for Pizza.
My home grown onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, bell peppers, garlic, or snap peas. I also fancy sweet corn.
