My favorite part of hunting is sitting in natures classroom and learning. It is a class that will never end. I find it enjoyable and rewarding.

My favorite part is seeing that buck for the first time and your heart skips a beat with excitement. I also love to watch my fletching dissapear behind his shoulder and you know you got him.

-being able to shut my cell phone off and enjoy some peace and quiet
    -watching the sunrise
    -the smells
-being able to be meticulous with at least one aspect of my life (stand locations, scent control, etc.)
-the snapping of branches and crackle of leaves when a deer is just out of sight
-seeing big bucks on the other side of my 20 yard pin

I just love being in the woods. I love setting up my tree stands. I love the kill and field dressing.

    1. Seeing if you can disappear in woods
    2. The Smells
    3. Sunrises and Sunsets and the sounds associated with each.
    4. The sound of crunching leaves
    5. The release and watching the arrow disappear, hopefully in his chest and not the leaves just over his back

i always have had a thermos of coffee with me whenever i go into the woods. so whenever i smell coffee, the first thing i think of is watching the sun come up in the middle of the woods. nothing else like it

Mine is definatly getting to spend time with family in the woods! Im always waitin for that text while im sittin in my stand saying "Just stuck one. Meet ya at dark." Always better to be the one sending out the text and waiting at the base of the tree for the other two to arrive! We always make it a family ordeal between my dad, brother, and myself to track.

    1) The anticipation as the deer walk towards you
    2) Seeing the forest come to life
    3) Helping my cousin/uncle on their farm (this is what I do to feel like I'm not imposing to hunt on their ground. They don't require me to do anything, but I enjoy helping out on the farm, reminds me of being a kid when I worked for them every summer.)

My favorites, in no particular order, are...
Being in the woods early in the morning and seeing everything come to life.
The thrill of seeing a deer, any deer, approach my stand.
    Deer camp with friends.

Sitting in the stand the first day, and relaxing and knowing all the summers hard work will pay off.

No one particular aspect of hunting is a favorite of mine. Simply put, my the traditions that come with each hunting season are what makes it so special. Everything from the first morning walk to the stand, so the last morning breakfast with my dad at our cabin during rifle season, it's a truly seasonal experience.

Love the prep of the first day.Loading the back pack just right, checking and rechecking equipment. The dark walk in.
The long high climb. At predawn the look of every shadow, every stump that resembles a big buck!
The filling of a tag is just the circle closing.
The God given gift, just to be out there.
Spending quality time with my adult Son!
................................Oh! the fire and Molson Golden at the end of the day don't suck either!
