It's amazing how close your list of shows matches to what I like to watch. I have never seen Fringe but but the rest are shows I really like. I would add Californication, Always Sunny in Phil, Deadliest Catch, American Pickers, and American Guns.

Sons of Anarchy - A fantastic mix of aggression, violence, vulnerability, sensitivity and love.
How I Met Your Mother - Just because it's hilarious.
Big Bang Theory - There are episodes where literally everything Sheldon says is funny.

    People watch hunting shows?

    How I Met Your Mother
    Modern Family
    Happy Endings
    The Mentalist

Nice thing about DVR, you can watch a sitcom in about 20 minutes and an evening soap opera in 40.

I don't get to watch tv as much but I noticed mostly I watch animal planet channel a lot.
I also seem to be watching storage wars, american pickers, swamp people, swamp loggers and axe men.
I am currently looking forward to the next season of Deadliest catch too.

I do find that if I'm not watching one of the DVR'ed shows I mentioned, or sports, I usually end up on the food network. I like Chopped.

Criminal shows of any kind (Law and Order, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Justified) are always good.

Ive seen every episode of Recue Me, Lost, Friday Night Lights, That 70's Show and King Of The Hill.

Big Chuck and Lil John (Northeast Ohio guys only) skits are good.

And i still watch the Looney Toons. Proudly.
