What is wrong with this doe?

I took these pics yesterday. She was about 150 yards off so this is as good a look as I have but even with the naked eye I could tell there was some growth, abscess, cockleburrs or something on her neck.

She seemed normal just watching her move and feed. Just wondering if anyone knows what this is?

 

Have you seen her before. I know in maine a lot of the deer that are getting their winter coats look similar. not sure if around you they are getting thicker coats yet.

What zoom do you have to get out to 150 yards?

 

Just looks like her coat was pushed against the grain, just like your hair.

 

Yeah, its just ruffed up hair.

Lol Yeah that was the first thing that popped into my head, winter coat coming in, and Ol'buck getting some, probably just ruffled her hair a little bit.

 

That's what I was thinking.

 

I guess that explains the cigarette butts I found near the bedding area and the smirk that 6 point gave her as he passed by her.
