No, doesn't sounds like you do have "trophy land". I have property in Central Wisconsin, it's a trophy area but I know I don't have "trophy land". To me trophy land is the land that has the primary buck bedding on the property, there are bedding areas that will be home to the areas biggest bucks year after year after year. Once a buck reaches that 4 year old and older they seek the best bedding, if the best bedding is not on your property they're going to leave for the best bedding. You sometimes can manipulate your property to have the best bedding, but generally there are factors a buck seeks that we cannot produce. I pass 1, 2, and many 3 year olds each year, do I by default see 4 years olds living on my property, no. I see 4 plus year olds passing through around the rut, because they bed off the property because I have a neighbor with the prime bedding that I'm unable to complete with. QDMA has preached let them go, let them grow which is great, but you can't hunt 1, 2, and 3 year olds and expect by default you're going to kill 4 plus year olds in the years to come. You have to hunt these animals completely different as they're a completely different animal living in completely different areas.
