    Got a really "odd" pic on a camera yesterday that has me scratching my head. What the heck is this? To me, it looks like a goat... or a chupacabra...

    That is weird, definitely looks like a lost goat. Wonder about those backstraps?

    We also had a bear last fall running around with a really bad case of mange. As for goats, there isn't a farm within 5 miles of this location. This is on a mountain top far removed from those farms. Just very odd...

    If it is not a melanistic deer, an escaped farm goat seems most likely to me.
