    Hey guys,

I checked my game cam today and had over 500 photos, the batteries are starting to get really low, still reading 20% which isn't bad considering it has been out for a month (probablly close to 8,000 photos taken)in temps that ranged from 45 to -19 degrees with an average probablly around 20 degrees. Well, I get to the last two pictures and go these.... the camera flash was dark from the battery life being low, but I was able to lighten them up a bit with Photobucket. I am not sure what this is, it looks like its about the size of a coyote but it doesn't appear to have a pointed snout or a tail, kinda reminded me of a bobcat but it looks pretty dang large for a bobcat. What do you guys think?

Bobcat. They can get bigger than most people think.

If it were in Wisconsin, the DNR would tell you it's a house cat. But I'd put my money on Cougar.:d

Im going with a big bobcat...in the first pic i see a small ringed tail (i think)..and not much of a tail in the second...a cougar would have a very long tail and i don't see any evidence of that in either pic...jmo

After looking at It again I don't see no tail either. I should of noticed that the 1st time. I'll change my answer to bobcat being there Isn't a long tail there.

I am thinkin bobcat too, but man, thats a big cat. The one I saw earlier in the year looked about half the size of this bad boy. The camera is still out with new batteries so hopefully I will get some new/better pics:cool:

They aren't really commong but they are around. Before this past rifle season, I had only ever seen two in my life and they were on my neighbors porch around 10 years ago.

sounds like around here then..in that case you have a trophy photo :hail: They are rare around here to but around. My neighbor caught one a couple weeks ago in a yote trap. He has been trapping for over 30 years and this was his first bobcat. They are protected so he had to let it go. He said that was no fun :d
