What is this deer doing?

    So this was on my trail camera the other day. have no idea what this deer is doing.. has anyone else ever seen this before?

    My guess would be that it is peeing on his tarsal glands. I have seen them do this in a scrape.

    Honestly can say never seen that before. My dog does something similar but it's usually trying to poop out a sock.
