ya, she was pretty much thrown to the sharks... mccain would have been better served at the ballot box by romney... but, all in all I think she was a net positive for him, she generated a lot of excitement for the republican base voters and she has been in the crosshairs of the left ever since... i wouldn't vote for her as a presidential candidate, i think the best she can hope to do is a vice slot mostly cuz at the end of the day people vote for the presidential candidate and the veep is really a meaningless position...

imo, mccain did her and his campaign an injustice by waiting so long to announce his choice... gave her no time to prepare, gave his campaign no time to due their diligence, etc... the repubs should have been prepping her for a year or so if they even considered running her... strategic mistake, likely cost mccain the election...

How about a little accountability on her part? Despite warnings from her own party she would make media appearances, go on talk shows, etc. etc. THEN have the nerve to write that McCain and the campaign party threw her under the bus and all that BS.

"Thrown to the sharks..." Sheesh. If she wasn't prepared she should have said so then. Or, she could have at least held her self accountable after the fact, but what did she do? Threw McCain, the media, etc. under the bus for her pitfalls. She reminds me of a high schooler; everyone is out to get her and, regardless of what she may do, the blame goes elsewhere.

definitely she should be accountable, i'm not suggesting otherwise... I jsut happen to think that if the mccain camp had known before hand and done their diligence they never would have chosen her... she was chosen cuz she was an unknown and a woman... that's all I can figure... which is why I could not vote for her...

And pass up fame and money? That would be anti-american!

Americans love sideshows. Exhibit A) Sarah Palin. Exhibit B) Jersey Shore

I tend to view myself as a conservative (with libertarian leanings), not a republican... so it pains me to see so many republicans that are virtually indistinguishable from liberal democrats... the only thing different about the parties anymore are the talking points, cuz their actions seem to dictate "more of the same" regardless of who is in power...

I would like to introduce you to Scott Walker the new Governor of Wisconsin and old Milwaukee County Executive. He is the first difference making in terms of conservative values in a long time. He actually has the gonads to take on the RHINO's and democrats. My guess is if you read about him you would love him. I'm hoping for a presidential run sometime in his future.

living literally about 300yds from the WI border I have heard of him, he is one of the few... reminiscent of Chris Christie in NJ... balls yes... hope he keeps it rolling... WI is overdue for the CCP to be passed... the legislature passed it several times but the gov would never sign it... this guy should...
