I am new to Bowhunting and need to get some gear together.

I know there is never one universal pattern for camo that will work in all environments (just ask soldiers in the Army). But what would be the best and most versatile pattern to use? Especially in Alaska?
When I can afford it I will purchase more gear..

Plus is there anybody on this forum that hunts anywhere near anchorage? I live in Anchorage and I am looking for someone experienced to go hunting with, if your willing to take and teach me.

As am I (not only for the effectiveness, but for the layering flexibility Jeff mentioned). There are certainly just as effective patterns out there, but ASAT has proven itself to be over the past two seasons for the terrain I hunt, and that's all that matters.
