What is the deal with those addicated leaf blowers out there?

Heaven forbid someone uses a rake or a broom, and actually gets a little exercise.

 

I will be purchasing one soon ... they rock!

 

Hey those blowers are heavy and the side to side motion with the wrist is no picnic.

 

We have a leaf blower and it gets used 2-3 times a week in the summer time but its never blown leaves. We use it to blow off the baler of all the loose hay that blows up on the baler. The wind (and lack of trees) takes care of any leaves we may actually get.

 

That's what my Cub Cadet is for... or at least the mulching plug that goes into the deck.

I just run 'em over. Nothing left after that.

 

I do P90X while I blow off the driveway. Duh...

 

I have lived in neighborhoods that have had these guys. They are usually the ones that have all kinds of tools that have not grease on them nor ever will. They blow their leaves to have a reason to use one of the only tools they know how to use. Their wives usually wear the pants and even if they really wanted to be a real man, they couldn't because she has their balls in her pocket. If he is lucky she lets him use them once a month. I honestly feel sory for them and if I did live where I could hear a neighbor using one, I would honestly feel sory for the guy.

 

Wow, you get all that just from seeing some guy with a leaf blower.?......generalize much???

So, tell me Mr. Freud, what do you make of a guy that flosses his teeth?

Or better yet, what can you tell me about a guy that has a pet cat?......this should be good!

 

Does your wife have your balls in her pocket?

The guy flossing his teeth is just a clean normal person. What is there to read into that one.

The guy with a cat, well thats all I'm saying on that one.

I'm guessing you use a leaf blower in your neighborhood everyday, floss your teeth and own a cat??

 

I guaranty she doesn't because he bales hay. He's not using it to blow the leaves off his driveway. Good grief man.

 

I'm guilty. But I only do it so I have something to complain about. I end cleaning up my leaves and my neighbors leaves. Funny thing is we don't have alot of trees on my block. Depending on the Kansas windage I may just be cleaning up leaves from a different county.

Can't believe how bent out of shape some are getting over this thread.... Pick and choose your battles....

Guys with a cat are no where near as as guys with leaf blowers. Just an FYI

 

Leaf blowing is gay. It's true. They're just leaves, let 'em be.

I can't say I've seen anyone around here blowing leaves. I've seen a few people raking.... that's about it.

I'm not sure I could hear a leafblower around here tho', not over the hum of grain dryers 600 yards away.

 

I blow the yard at least once a week. I consider it my duty as a faithful homeowner. It does not reciprocate though.

 

While he's blowing the 10 leaves in his bleached driveway!
