for hunting and target shooting so my 40 something eyes can see them? I can't pick my arrows out at the target while practicing. I was thinking going to all one color but what I really need is a color that I can see. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if you have this same problem what color did you choose?

I think it's really personal preference. A lot of people, myself included, usually have a set of "theme colors" that are sported throughout there rig; vanes to match.

For hunting, I think white and blue are really easy to see, after you've released on an animal, and, looking to have the vanes contrast the surroundings.

For target, it depends on the color of target you're shooting at. Most guys that shoot Vegas targets go with a dark fletch and nock, which, stands out against the yellow background of the target.

No matter the color, I like to have at least one vane white so I can get a good look at the color of the blood after a shot. :tu:

My eyes like white best. With white vanes on white wraps I have no trouble seeing my arrows in flight.

I like white too, but I usually end up with at least one or two hunts in the snow every year so I typically go with two white, and one red or flourescent orange. The past several years I've used 2x white barred and 1x red barred feathers on a predator gray wrap.

This is exactly what I plan to do this year. Two white and one fluorescent.

I've played around a lot with bright colored fletchings/ wraps and honestly, the brightest there is is Bohning's hot pink. The question is; Are you man enough to shoot pink arrows?

This is what I use most of the time. I do also like white or red wraps with 2 red blazers and 1 white for the cock vein.

I use 1 - flo. yellow & 2 - white until there is snow then I go to 1 - flo. yellow & 2 - hot pink. I have done the same for about 25 years and think I will stay with it.

    Its personal preference.

I personally stick with an all white wrap and two white and one whatever color I want fletchings.

For me, white sticks out well when shooting at game.

Now, if you shoot 3D with your buddies and they like to shoot at your arrows..... pick colors that blend into the targets!

2 years ago I went to all white feathers (4 of them). I'll never shoot any other color again. I can see the arrow hit the animal awesome.
