What is more uncomfortable extreme heat or extreme cold?

    I guess it depends on what activities you are doing and if you are properly dressed.

    Sitting still? Cold.

    Moving/Physical Activity? Heat.

    I've experienced both, both suck.

    Overall I'd rather take heat over cold. We have pretty good extremes of both in MD. As others have said there are variables.

    Heat drains me fast and cold invigorates me. Both to the extreme are dangerous. I have seen a dude grab a metal tool in really cold weather and his hand was stuck to it but I still hate heat more.

    I hate the heat. I sweat like a pig anyway. Hell I can work up a sweat in -20 below. The only time I like the heat is when I'm on a winter vacation.
