Just curious as to what some of you were most interested in on all the coverage. Great coverage by the way. Lots of interesting stuff. To me the Rexpid broadheads seem to catch my eye the most. Going to look into them a bit more and may order a few as they seem foolproof.
Predator camo? The new Hawk (?attack) and Primos (see through) blinds. Any new run and gun stands? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Except for facebook and Instagram I thought the coverage was terrible. the problem with the above sorces is that if your not following a company your not seeing anything. When coverage was better here and on AT for example youd be exposed to products out of your normal scope. the products am most interested in are thr garmin sight, the new victory arrows, the new slick trick head and afflictior heads. I also like the new stablizer line from bee stinger. Bows that intrest are the Ritual, Bx32 and the RX turbo..
Like Trial, I thought the coverage was awful compared to other years. There was a handful of products that I saw over and over again on Facebook and IG. Obviously the Garmin sight was impressive, but that’s the only thing people were posting. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I have quite a few things im interested in. Scent loks ozone products. hawks trail camera and some run and gun setups.
I am sure they have a ton more coverage here that hasn't been uploaded yet. I saw these guys many times over the course of the show and they were hitting it hard.
The YouTube channel has a ton of content from the show, fwiw. The Peep It and Anchor Knot were slick. Really cool concept.
im sure they are being careful on what they are showing. can't show conflict with their current sponsors.
They always cover tons of non-sponsor products, but they will definitely prioritize their sponsors first as that only makes good business sense.
They covered nearly every major bow manufacturer. I didnt even see a Matthews video (though Im not interested in Matthews so maybe I missed it). Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
I noticed Todd and Justin always hit their sponsors day 1. The rest of the crew covers the competing products the following days. I am not knocking them, just an observation. I would do the same.
Agreed on that the coverage was terrible. The things that caught my interest the most were the garmin sight and the primos see through blind. I wish i had a better idea of what was actually at the show
There wasn't really anything new this year that is news worthy. Literally the most talked about new products were the Garmin sight, the IQ sight and the Primos blind. The busiest booths each day was Sitka, Garmin, Hoyt and Scent Crusher. You couldn't hardly turn around in the Sitka booth.
158 videos filmed, edited and uploaded before we left the show. Dozens of live streams, including one where we literally covered every product in the Featured Products section, dozens of FB posts, hundreds of images posted, IG story, Snapchat story and the coverage was terrible? Man, you guys are hard to please.
Instead of saying these guys are hard to please maybe you should look at where you could post your coverage where more people will see it. I don’t have a horse in this race on either side. Just a thought that hit me when I read your post. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Believe me - we did. As much as I love these Forums and they've been my home for a decade now, there are fewer users here than almost any other platform we have. Which is why the coverage went to Facebook, YouTube and other channels. Times, they are a changing!
I didn't even know you had a YouTube page until I read this thread... Btw Justin, I love the new quote in your signature
The Youtube page has just about anything you wanna see on there. If you think the coverage was terrible, look there. I've watched 60-70 of the videos that are posted. I just looked and they have 168 videos posted. https://www.youtube.com/user/bowhuntingdotcom/playlists Click this link then click the 2018 ATA show playlist. Audio goes bad in a couple of the videos, but you can get the point.
I seen multiple groups of the BH.com guys making their rounds at the show and have watched a lot of the content since getting back. They have without a doubt the most complete coverage of the show. If you know how big that show is, you know how hard it is to cover it entirely.
No. They weren’t terrible. I was supposed to be at the show with a couple companies and I had a work project come up. It was a lot better to see at least a little bit of the show as opposed to nothing. You guys did good. Enjoyed it. I think everyone needs to remember that none of the coverage is necessary.
