I knew a guy 20yrs ago who'd do the same thing and brag about it all the time, didn't have as many animal rights people around then or he would've went down.... I'm not defending this clown, so don't take it that way, he was a real scuz bag and would rip down my permanant stands on my family(mariage) land. I finally had to talk to law enforcement to stop him... But there are nut jobs out there everywhere...Sometimes right in your area!

It's stories like this that have me wishing I wasn't working to be a better man. I only live 40 miles from Clinton IL. Turns out that this tool may have worked at a local pro shop I visit from time to time. Grrrrrr
I'm not sure who carries the "dumba$$" portion of the story, the kid or the deer. Last time I drove a ATV towards a deer...they ran...last time I drove my vehicle towards a deer...they ran...last time I pulled my bow back on a buck....you can guess what happened. So, do they really have evidence that he "ran" over deer on a ATV? Deer are agile, I don't see that happening. If it's true, dumb deer for standing there. Dumb kid for not wearing a helmet while doing it, that would get messy.
He had to have one heckuva fast atv to do that. If he was out doing it, psych eval and then lock him away.
Sad part is that something like this happened with a group of guys on Snowmobiles in Wisconsin. Most had criminal records. Saying they got a slap on the hand would be stretching it no consequences at all. It is sad.
