Bob Costas could have prevented this.

Sadly, its idiots with guns (Zimmerman) that proves Costas' point.

It doesn't prove anything Matt. People are hurting and killing each other with many other weapons besides guns these days.

    How so?
Simple question does Zimmerman approach the kid without his gun?

If he did, maybe he would be the dead one. We will never know.

I am glad a single view does not affect my judgement to look at a situation and come up with a reasonible conclusion.

Wow, a man near 30 values life more than a 16 year old. What a profound statement, lol

Lets look at a broader question. Is it acceptable for an armed citizen to protect his community by confronting what he/she believes is a threat?

Why would the defense not have been given this picture, in full digital quality from the very beginning? Seems to me this would be a pretty important bit of information.

No arm citizens should not be approaching people in neighborhoods they deem suspicious. For three main reason
    1. Their definitions of what is suspicious is pretty wide open between each person, and most have zero training.
    2. Because I believe freedom, I believe people have the right to be left alone, if they are following the law and not bothering anyone.
    3. Training, the majority of citizens are not trained to handle confrontations with people they deem suspicious. So the meeting gets escalated and something bad happens.

And thats why I believe it proves Costas' point. No gun in that situation, and we don't have a situation.

We seem to be open and free with acusations and faults in Zimmermans past yet martins past
as "No-limit-Nigga" is off limits, I wonder why that is.
