    Uh... yuk.

It happens I guess... hang in there... just cause you think you are dying, or wish you could, doesn't mean you will. You can do it.

Insanity is a pretty great DVD. Man it hurts the hell out of your quads.

What if any equipment do you need for this? My wife is constantly on me about my shape, or lack there of. She married a Marine and is now stuck with a sailor (no offense navy guys)

That's the biggest plus I see so far with it over P90X, no equipment needed. Though, I use a mat for anything that has to do with plank or pushups. I have to do those on my knuckles due to a cist in my left wrist.

Please be careful of planking on your elbows... that transfers weight directly to your shoulders and bypasses the helping muscles in your arms. We had several swimmers who started having shoulder issues from it. Of course they were much younger and maybe not fully developed yet.

Do a couple rounds for me too will ya? I think I'll just ride my bike and walk the hills on my property a few times.

    Love the prince john reference.

Hate insanity. Not because it doesn't work, because it makes me want to die.

Have you done the ab routine yet? That's my favorite. Went from beer belly to 6 pack in about 3 weeks

Sounds like I need to order this. I've got to do something. My wife is on a fitness kick and coming along pretty dang good. I'm proud of her and want to be in shape also. I can walk all over our property chasing turkeys and feel great afterwards. I just have some fat covering the muscle and need to loose it before I start putting on mass. When I get off second shift I'll have a little more time to go at it hard.

Where's the best place to buy Insanity?

Haven't done the ab one yet, that's next week. Just finish day 5, Pure Cardio.

BeachBody.com is where we've ordered this & P90X. You might find it on ebay or craig's list.

I actually like it... a lot. It's tough as hell, but the workouts are relatively short, so it's easier to muster up the intensity. I didn't mind P90X, but I like this much better!

Today is day 10, Plyometric Cardio Circuit. I'm down about 8# so far.

Have you changed your eating habits to go with the workout?

A little. I'm actually eating more. We eat pretty healthy anyway, so I'm just making sure I have enough fuel. My wife did order some of Beachbody's recovery formula, so adding a smoothie after the workout is different too.
