I live in the house I grew up in, Small 2 story house sittling on 7 acres with a barn and pond... Love this place, nothing fancy by any means... but it's home.

    Long story short,

My Grandfather bought this house years ago, my mom spent a big part of her childhood here also. My Grandfather is a Pastor, who lives in a Parsonage(sp?) about two hours away with his church. So my mom and dad lived in the house and raised me. My Great Grandparents passes away in the 90's and my Grandfather inherited their house and has remodeled it to retire in over the years.

All around the time I was old enough to be on my own, my parents divorced and went their separate ways... Leaving me with my Grandfathers house where me and my wife live now.... No rent/mortgage = Awesome. I'm very greatful for this place as without it, I don't know where I would be.

Let's see some pics guys........this is a awesome thread.

I go by my old house at Lake Doster (mi) and really wish i could live there again, share the experience or let my kids experience life out there. The lake, golf course, all the land with trails to explore as well. I wish i could be young again and live it again!
I don't have pics, but will try to get some this spring.

The house is there, great shape! People living there aren't that much older than me. I see them once in awhile and kid them about selling. Their reply....is no way....LOVE IT THERE!
