I'm certainly not knocking guys for buying a new bow every year. If that's what floats their boat, more power to them. I can afford to buy 10 new bows a year if I wanted, but truthfully I don't find it enjoyable, or necessary. I prefer the familiarity of shooting the same bow for years. AND I don't have to worry about scratching the finish!

The best hunter and shooter I know hunts with a Mathews Switchback he bought the year they came out. Guys bust his stones when they see his beat up old bow......Until they see his trophy room!

I bought my Bowtech 101st the year it came out. My buddy bought a switchback the same day. You couldnt have given me the mathews over the 101st. But now if i was to buy a new bow, the new bowtechs wouldnt even get consideration> Their carbon bows feel like kids toys to me and the draws do not feel good at all. Obsession Evolution will probably be the next bow i purchase.

It comes in waves. A few years ago it was Hoyt. Then BowTech. Now Elite. During all these companies "popular" year or maybe they had a couple year run, I have to agree with the majority. They had the best feeling bow in the market. The Element was a sweet bow. It met the hype of the time it came out. Then the release of the Insanity CPXL boosted BT. Then next up was Prime with their Impact which fell quickly due to design flaw. Now It's Elites turn with the E series. What's next? Who the heck knows.

I personally don't care who is making it. If it shoots great and feels right to me, I'll shoot it. Heck, if Mathews made one I liked, I'd even consider it.
