I’d still take my Coverts over my Stealths for what it’s worth.

The 2012's were the best cams covert ever made The 2013's had issue of not saving pics to the sd card so after a 2-3 week soak there wouldnt be any pics saved to the card

Ha! That’s what I meant. I had 2 of those 13s that had that exact issue. Those 2012s were amazing.

Yep, love those mp6 and mp8's! Wish I had a few more. The three I have out right now will prolly still have battery life, even tho temps have been below zero! I use them for pics only but for video and audio these new stealth cams are hard to beat for the price![IMG]

thx slugger. I am truly impressed with these new stealth cams so far! I use my coverts for pics only and I leave them out in areas I plan on hunting the following season. Here is a big woods buck I'm after for two seasons now. Been scouting hard these last two months trying to find some of his beds!

I've gotten mp6 that's been in the woods since Jan. 2013...lol. Still takes good pic. Mp8 black, but night pics suck. Hd40 that's great.

My Mpe6 was such a workhorse and finally died this fall as did my 2012 Red40. I have an MP8 still cracking along, but I’m now running Stealth and Browning cams. So far, they’re pretty decent, but nothing amazing. They all leave a little to be desired with their night time photos along with an insane amount of image noise in low light before the IR filter takes over.

I’m mainly a $120-$130 and under camera guy. If I want good quality images, I’ll put a home brew out.

That's the one complaint I have with Stealths in the past is battery life. I hang cameras for 3 months before I check them on my first hunt. Nothing worse than finding out that the batteries died half way through that.
