Hey guys im looking into some DMT benchstones for sharpening my knives. I was wondering if any one has used these and what is the best grit that works for knives? They have multiple types but i need some help picking what ones would work best. They have a duosharp, which has two different grits one on each side. So basically what works best on getting the knife sharp?

Something fairly course , 350 or so for the initial edge then around 700 or so for getting it basically razor sharp. Diamond stones are the best I've found.

Autobody sandpaper on a mousepad for most grinds. Omit the mouse pad for scandi edges....

I have 2 DMT diamond stones. A blue one and a red one. Blue is coarse, red is fine. With those 2 I can sharpen anything fairly quick. Shaving sharp on a dry arm.
