Mainly Forestry and Land Management for recreational/hunting property along with heavy equipment(all kinds) operation and construction/carpentry(renovating old cabins and building storage buildings/pole barns)....woods roads, hunting trails(for grouse), tree planting(fall and spring), food plots, built 5 ponds so far, lots of a little bit of everything. Current project is repairing/rebuilding an old milk barn with drive thru bay from the 1940s on property(will be redoing or demolishing all the farm buildings) that the boss just picked up...115X36 feet and about 40ft tall...hayloft the whole works...we've replaced 2 sections of the foundation and restraightened the northside...taking out all the concrete floors and troughs(jackhammer and saw along with mini excavator and asv). We had to jack up 20 and 36 feet of walls to do the foundation work...this is a crazy project and in reality would be cheaper and faster to tear it down and build an new one but he wants to save it. I never really know what I'll be working on the next week.

What gets me through most work days is coming to work with a sense of humor and then working with a sense of mission. I try to keep all the bs, political work crap as far away from me as possible.

    I love my job.

If were busy, im in the squad all day..hating life, but ultimately doing what i went to school to do.

If were slow... im doing whatever i want. Eating, sleeping, watching movies, cooking, sitting on here, studying...

    Even making raps...

Work gets me through the day. I don't want to hear anyone be critical of teacher's on here again. Talk about a lot of easy jobs out there. Maybe I'm in the wrong field :D

No work goin on right now, finished last job two weeks ago. Hard to pour concrete during this time of year, unless it a mild winter. That usually keeps me pretty busy throughout the day.

Today it's knowing I'm making a ridiculous amount of money to sweep the floor. Gotta love overtime on the holidays. But every other day it's BSing with best friends and the Internet.....

Not really. I have had some jobs before where I was actually bored due to lack of work to do or just didn't like doing it. I don't mind my current job and the day goes by faster when i'm busy.

I'm constantly busy. I may check a forum or two on my phone while I'm in the head.
