Just curious, I know we have people from all over on here. I thought it would be cool to list the possible game animals that each has in their area (State).
Whitetail & turkey is pretty much it for bowhunting large game ... One of the reasons I'd love to move out to Colorado or the like one day. Rabbit & squirrels for small game. Red fox, gray fox, bobcats, coyote for trapping. Edit: we've got mink, raccoon, beaver, muskrat, otter, skunks, and possums, too... I just don't target those -- though my boy does want to buy a dozen Lil' Grizzes this year so I guess we'll start putting up a bunch of 'coon here soon as well.
Common carp, grass carp, bighead carp, silver carp, bigmouth buffalo, smallmouth buffalo, black buffalo, several different type of carpsuckers, several types of suckers, longnose gar, shortnose gar, spotted gar, bowfin, shad, drum. :D
Whitetail, turkey, and coyotes. I also hunt squirrels outside of chasing big bucks, and I also have a yard full of coonhounds that are in the woods nearly every night once my focus changes from whitetails.
