actually, FIRST this happened: then that happened. but regardless of which order they appeared, I still say these are the two funniest standup routines ever.
Don't believe the rumors about old people. I've paid to see Steven Wright, The Smothers Brothers, Tim Conway, and Bill Cosby. Every one of them packed the venue too.
Haha I thought about that after I wrote it, I was wondering if someone was going to pick up on that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Some of the best fun ever is "The Comedy Barn" in Pigeon Forge. It's just slapstick but I laugh until I cry every time I go.
I don't care if comedians curse...funny is funny Jim Gaffigan is hilarious without cursing...so are Jerry Seinfeld and Brian Regan. Louise CK can be funny while keeping it "clean" but doesn't always choose to. Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy are obviously very succesful comedians as well. To say there are no funny comedians today who don't need to curse is complete BS
So you make blanket statements about people who enjoy different forms of comedy and you consider it nitpicking when somebody calls you on it?
may·be /ˈmābē/ adverb: maybe 1. perhaps; possibly. "maybe I won't go back" synonyms: perhaps, possibly, conceivably, it could be (that), it is possible (that), for all one knows; More literary peradventure, perchance "maybe the bus will be on time today" noun: maybe; plural noun: maybes 1. a mere possibility or probability. "no ifs, buts, or maybes"
I won't even go to comedy clubs anymore because it's all shock comedy crap now. Especially the female comedians with foul mouths. Real turn off for me. I always liked Leno for that reason. Always funny and know four letter words needed.
I see someone already posted up Tim Hawkins. Another funny guy, with limited cussing, and funny topics and takes on things is Jim Gaffigan.
^^^ Yep^^^ "May Be" (By the way; that means a possibility exists... not a judgment or a blanket statement or anything like that) but maybe, there are so few Drew Careys today because there are so few Johnny Carsons, Ed Sullivans etc... to highlight them. Just a thought.
he was not funny, Paulie shore was better than him, Richard Prior was one of the best ever, sure he had issues but he used all that baggage to be funny as heck.Carlin was a master too and he could be clean
