Yep Greg, BBM was right, they are Pop Rocks. They still have those little gems in stores as well.

And the good ole Fun Dip was wonderful.....packets of flavored sugar stuck to a pure sugar dippin' stick. I might hop both my 4 and 1.5 year old sons on this before I send them off to grandma's next time. :tu:

I think I know why I started dipping..

Jerkey Chew. I think that is still around as well, I loved that stuff.

Or how about fake candy cigs. Man you were cool if you had those!!

Jerky chew....I thought I was a tough guy. Good thing I stopped at the "jerky" part. Dubbya tried to peer pressure me into having a dip in Oklahoma. My pelotas were not big enough to try it.

Fake candy cigs were cool, but they tasted awful and chalky. Remember the gum cigs, where you could blow the powder out of the paper wrapper surrounding the gum stick??

Umm.....this takes the cake for me. You win the "What Ever Happened To???" Generation X category. Pogs were the ultimate one hit wonder game if there ever was one.

Unfortunately, I was nerd enough to collect a MONSTER pile of pogs. Still have them at my folks house somewhere....

Slammers.....I enjoy using that word for monster bucks now moreso than I ever did for pogs. LOL.

When I finally shoot a buck, I am gonna yell, "I JUST SHOT A POG!!"

I had my fair share of baseball cards. They are still around....I was tempted to pick up a pack the other day when I was standing in line at BEST BUY.

Of all the places to sell baseball cards????? BEST BUY?

Man... I remember, I had an translucent orange Duncan Butterfly. That thing would sleep forever.

Pogs? I remember the name, I know I had some... but What were they again, I cant remember... seems like I had some with Power rangers on it or something...??

I wish I still had my pogs.

I think I sold them at a garage sale for like ten bucks. I'd start playing again.

I had like 3 of the long tubes you kept them in.

Mad Pog Collection Video Check it out Aaron!

they were about the size of a 50 cent piece, almost like a cardboard material, they had logos on one side, you stacked up 10 of them put them face down, then hit them with your "slammer" (which was the same size but thicker an made of plastic) an seen how many you could get to turn over..
