For indoor shooting? The first place I worked for uses layers of sound board. That works well but it's pretty messy. I'm looking at spyderweb targets but man, are they expensive. So, I'm looking for ideas on what to use for wall shooting indoors. What does your shop use?

You will not find a finer fieldpoint target than the spyderweb. Although, I know they are spendy.

Create a press and put in layered cardboard or phone books. You can make a 4x4 target butt for about $100 with some 4x4's and all-thread. Best of all, it's re-using recyclable materials.

My shop uses the webs. They are just great man.
They have a couple of Giant compressed foam targets (like 5 ft by 5ft) that they use for broadheads

While more expensive up front, you will spend less $$$$ over say a 5 year period if you buy the Spyderwebs. They are a fantastic target.

We had the 4'x4' block at our shop and it was dead in a year. What a waste of $$$.

May sound crazy, but if you have anywhere near by that makes cloth like used in t shirts, grab all the scraps you can. When put into a cloth bag, they work great. Arrows come out easy, and we have yet to have any bow put an arrow all the way through it. A little Redneck, I know, but it works for my brother and I. I've watched him destroy many targets over the years, and now that Im shooting too, we have to have something that will hold up. Just fluff them back up occasionally and you are golden.

Some people around here, use the same "filling", but build 4'x4' boxes to hold it in.
