In almost all aspects of life, I respect intelligent people who display their intelligence through their actions.
If they hunt legally and use some ethics they have my respect. Basically if they are a decent person they are fine by me.
Parents or someone that takes the time to take and teach a kid to hunt and a small precentage of bowhunters that manage to kill great bucks in their area ever year get my respect.
I respect a humble hunter that kills big bucks on land that doesn't belong to an outfitter. I have no respect as far as a bowhunter, not the person, that pays an outfitter to kill a certain buck. Im not much for the " I pay you to put me on a deer" ....just not my cup of sweet tea yall....
I don't think I saw a post that explicitly stated people don't respect hunters who shoot big deer. What I have seen are posts that say it is the overall person that is far more important. Example, I respect GregH because he is a very down-to-earth, honest guy who is willing to share his knowledge and experiences. He happens to kill giant deer - but is so modest about it, one would think he just dropped bambi when he says he hit a "good one".
This is the most silly thing I have ever read. Why would people who kill big animals get respect? This is a mystery to me. I might admire their skills, but respect? Nah, that is just silly.
Absolutely not true...........I have no obligations A perfect example of this would be say..........Tiffany Lakoski??
Not me. Sure shes easy to look at,(although I don't find her to be any more than average), but put her in your woods or mine on her own and lets see how she does.
