That was my thought. I'm thinking he's 2.5. Hope to keep him in the area. I saw a 12 pt this year but never had him on cam and never provided a shot. We'll see what happens. Currently this is the largest buck I have on cam.

The hardest deer to age are anything above 5 and telling the difference between a 2 and 3. It still does not change the current score or next years math.

Well I'll be optimistic on him gaining that much. Guess all there is to do is wait and watch.

I am not saying that, I am saying use the math from the qdma article with the deer being 115" + or - 5". Plug the percentages in as a 2 1/2 and a 3 1/2. You would have a fair range of antler for next year and see if he is what you are looking for.

Well if he's 2.5 like I think and at 115 then if the formulas are accurate he could be round 138. According to the formula the biggest he could get is 161. I don't know how much faith I have in formulas but it is interesting.

    I'd say he is 120-125"
As for age... I'm gonna guess 3. Holds his mass, even through his tines. Decent beams, good sized body

Average growth rate between 2 and 3 then also 3 and 4 at times are amazing. No way of knowing for sure but he's definitely not far off if he's a healthy 3 year old.

What is "enough" is personal choice, I'd sling an arrow at him no matter what he does next year because a 4 1/2 to me is mature for sure. Great buck there and hope he meets your standards!

A lot of guys thinking he is 3. For some reason I'm thinking he is a year younger. Gonna check cams tomorrow. If he is on there again maybe we can see a side shot of him.

Barely over 110. But I suck at scoreing. Looks like he'll be a nice buck one day. Good luck shooting him in a year or two. Also keep us updated if you get more pics of this deer. It would be nice to see him growing.

I have over 75 pics of him alone. I hope he grows. He looks so much better in the day light. Could be a stud next year.

The daylight pics help a lot. He does look to maybe be 3.5. But I think he scores over 120.

Here is side pic. Shows his mass. The more I look at him the more I think this may be the buck to chase next year. Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to find his sheds to score.

Daytime pics look better. I think he looks a bit bigger as well.
