What does Boise State's win over VT mean, now?

    Here's another way to look at this......

    BSU got ONE 1st place vote, pre-season. After their game with VT, they got EIGHT 1st place votes. THis week, they got ONE, again (without playing).

    Now....do you think the decrease in 1st place votes had more to do with AL and OSU winning the way they did? Or, might it have been the fact that VT got beat by an FCS team?

    I'm guessing the latter.

    Definately hurts BSU's BCS standings. All BSU can do is win them all and see where the chips fall. I know they will be happy with another BCS bowl game period, if the don't get a shot at the title. Very few non BCS conferences get that opportunity year in and out.
