    Good post Mater......
I certainly blow money on hunting and kids are beyond expensive. .... it is just money though. A dollar bill has yet to ever comfort me, show me love, or wash my undies.... I wish everyday that I lived before money existed....
I am the richest man I have ever met...(see avatar) :tu:

I waste a lot on beer and cigarettes. I dont see hunted gear as a waste, but I also won't buy something if I'm not certain I'm going to use it.

What I spend very little on is entertainment (i.e. TV, movies, shows, etc.)

I would say cycling is my second passion as well. Tobacco also (pipe, cigars, and chew).

The only thing I spend money on is archery/hunting. And it is definitely not a waste.

I have way too many hobbies. Hunting, cars, photography (which I only use the money I make from shooting weddings and stuff to buy more photo crap so I guess it doesn't count), camping/fishing, and good beer. I'm gonna have to narrow them down some......but I love them all!!!!

    Bottled Water.

I hate most chlorinated/fluoridated water from the tap. I also don't like spring water. So I buy bottled 'drinking' water.

...and a lot of times I put those little flavor packets in the water so I could have just gone with the tap water anyhow. :D

Hunting stuff by far, I also find my gym membership a waste since I only use about half of what is available.

Ha I might have to use that when my sticks and two hang ons arrive at my door. It will be my 5th stand this year.

I spend way too much money on hunting supplies, vehicles, hunting supplies for my gf, and like most people I could probably go without a smart phone but its so convenient. Going to work on budgeting better starting now....been listening to the Dave Ramsey podcast too much lately.

Fishing gear seems to add up much faster than hunting gear. Boat, gas, travel expense, tourny fees, lures, rods, reels. It gets expensive quick.

In my days of turning 21, there were a few local watering holes around that I don't want to know how much money I gave them.

I spend too much money on guns. Ammo ( I could supply a small army but if its in stock I always feel compelled to buy more). Going out to eat and specialty beers

Buying a gun or ammo is NEVER a waste of money. Ever. Even my crappiest gun is still an investment in the future and one day may put put food in my belly or otherwise save my life when nothing else will.

For me, it's Jeep stuff....no sooner do I buy a bumper than I find one somewhere cheaper or one I like better; same with tires or on board air, winches, etc.... my wife calls my Jeep my (female dog/profane version of "mistress") and is insanely jealous of her.
