I would love to see more off season tactics. Like more foodplots and how they are making them. I know i struggled this year trying to figure out when to put down lime and if it was to late to plant. I know it is different from state to state. I know that during the summer i am still that guy waiting for the friday post to watch. So it would be nice to guide us that do not know as much so i know if i need to put the fishing rod down and get in the field to work on a plot.
I just wanted to say that I wasn't making fun of Todd's quest for a trophy doe; I just thought it was funny how many times he'd say "trophy doe" during the episodes. :D I actually think it's great he has goals and is really competitive and it makes for some great footage. Great job, Todd!
More negotiations with farmers on how to restore land to hunt. More predator hunting gotta save them babies.
It seems that the BHOD staff has some pretty awesome gear and during the season the shows are my work week salvation. I'd like to see some off season gear suggestions, or some kind of post BBD review like a graphic of where the stand was and how the deer came in. Off season Bow tips on how to tune a bow or better practice methods.
I think the show is well done and I watch every week. It's different than other shows you couldn't do this on tv so that is what I like. I would say that I would like to see some of the behind the scenes. I have been self filming for about 3 years and it adds a whole new degree of difficulty. Many times I think I would be more successful as a hunter if I wasn't trying to film myself. I would like to see how the BHOD staff set up in the tree how they get their gear to the tree and how many hours and days they put in without success. too many times we see a 15 minutes snap shot of a successful hunt, but there were days and days of sitting and not seeing a shooter buck. Also what video gear they are using. Hunting is just one part of the story, but look how many on this site want to film, but do we really know what the pro staff has to do to bring you this show every week. So how to be a better videographer hunter tip.
