for aging criteria. I have heard many different things and would like to get a concensus of how to tell a 1.5 year old from a 2.5, 2.5 from 3.5, etc.

There are a couple things I look for when looking for a mature buck(4.5 or older).
. Body has more of a barrel shape(less shoulder definition). Also a sagging belly, legs tend to look shorter b/c of how the body is filled out. A bridged snout, also greying around the muzzle.
The older he gets, the easier these things will get to pick out.
