It's been a month since I've been able to check my trail cams. Lots of turkeys, shed bucks, bucks with antler and this guy. What do you think this is?

Yep, dogs are common for me also.
It hard to see in this picture, but there are actually two dogs.
There is a grey one right behind the black one.

Yeah I would agree, it looks like a dog. But it could make you take a second look at it.

I agree, just seems to be a regular old husky.

My guess is....there's only one dog in that second pic. My camera's done that, also (when a deer has moved, during exposure).

Nobody around here owns a Husky or a Malmute.

First one is a Husky, second one could be a black coyote, but likely another mix. Old roommate had a Husky/Pit Bull/Boxer mix that looked exactly like the second one.

I don't know what to think. There aren't a lot of houses in the area and none of the locals/neighbors that I showed the pic to, know of anyone with a dog like that. No one else has seen it. The location is in a pretty big piece of timber, about 4 miles NW of a known wolf territory according to the WDNR web site.

I guess what I'm thinking is that there is more of a reason for a wolf to be around than a dog, but it sure looks like a dog. Of the people I've asked, it's about 50/50, wolf or dog.
