None of that horrible country music that so many hunting shows insist on playing, now right there is a definite plus.
I like the video. The audio could use a little help. I'm listening to it wearing cans right now. Your initial Narration audio at the introduction is only coming out of the Right Channel only and when the hunter shoots the target and says something like "I couldn't do that again" @ 1:22 it's coming out of the left channel only. Why is this a problem? Because if someone's TV or audio system is screwed up, they're going to struggle to hear you if they can hear you at all. Just do it in stereo if you can't do it in DD 5.1 Other than that...nice.. I personally think it could use some more narration or audio of the guys talking a bit. Maybe, put the guys names out there, so we can get to know who they are. The sooner the world learns their names, the more successful you'll be. It's all about self promotion for you at this point. Good luck. Looking forward to it.
Yeah I noticed that when I listened to it with only ear bud in. I don't know what's up with that and I'm not sure how to fix it. It was all recorded in 2-channel stereo sound. The Hunt Channel wants 2-channel stereo sound, not DD 5.1.
I would be much more interested in watching that show than a lot of them out there right now. It seems you concentrate a lot more on the hunt and the experience of the hunt rather than just the kill shots. I want to see more of that in the shows. That is what make the woods more enjoyable to me, and hunting appealing to me. Some shows concentrate so much on the kills, they downplay the entire experience except the kill...could just as well be filming a slaughterhouse than a hunt. I like the part that you are not professionals, and hunt "the break". I know I am in the minority, but I really would like the music to not interfere with the show. Some shows I have to turn the volume completely off because I find the "rock" or "country rock" music too offensive to listen to. What's wrong with some soft classical, or just plain sounds of the woods...its never quiet, and it could add a lot to show the experience of the hunt itself, rather than the entire "showcase drama music". For the trailer, though...makes me definitely want to watch the show.
