Check out the new trailer I put together for my show, The Break. Let me know what you think about the music, the editing or whatever else you want to critique me on. Thanks!

Looks good! If your commentary in the episodes can match the quality of the video footage than it should be a good show. I like the fact the you make a point of saying that you are not professionals. That makes it more appealing. I have two suggestions to keep that aspect if the show becomes a success: 1) Take a cue for the Bow Hunt or Die show: fess up when you make a mistake and educate the viewer as a part of the process. 2) Keep it about the experience of hunting, not about just shooting the biggest trophies possible. Good Luck!

Awesome video! I really like the concept around the show as that is what most hunters are doing, and of course the footage looks great too. If I had a critique it would be about the words at the beginning of the video. I didn't see the "We're not" on the Professional Videographers the first time through; and it kinda seemed like the words maybe needed to be on the screen quicker or the person speaking needed to speak slower or something. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but something seemed a little off on a couple of those sequences to me. I'm not sure you even need words on those opening sequences, might be better with out them. For example, on the first sequence I thought the hunter was saying the words and the timing was off.

Don't take this comment negatively, I enjoyed the trailer and was just trying to offer some feedback.

What...no shots of you getting dressed or brushing your teeth or eating dinner. Where's the head banging music??? All sarcasm of course.

Great job! Keep it real. If you gut shoot a deer, don't turn to the cameraman and high five and say "smoked him". Keep it real.

Yeah. Well done. Just keep it real and don't get wrapped up in seeing yourselves on video more than the hunting footage.

I always shut off the video when I see them driving their trucks, walking through an airport......or putting on camo:)

I agree with Coop, all but the gun part was great, but I'm guessing its not just an archery show. I too noticed the "off sequence" of the video and voice at the beggining. Still some great footage, beautiful area also. Like that you show that small equipment(mower) and older equipment such as the old tractor is all you need to put together a respectable plot, and anytime you involve kids I'm on board,...cant wait to see more:tu:

    Appreciate the feedback.

I guess I should've just put face shots while they weren't talking during the voiceover in the beginning. Didn't cross my mind at the time. I see what you mean now. lol

No....it's not an archery only show. Probably 80% or more of our hunting is archery, but the success rate is higher, obviously, with a gun. So, you'll see firearms hunting.

I plan to "keep it real" Afflicted. My team consists of guys at different levels in their hunting careers. You'll see a couple 2 yr old bucks killed this season. But, to me, as long as the hunter is genuinely excited about it, that's all I care. There won't be any, "It was the last day of the hunt....he's a cull buck" type stuff.

Very nice footage, like the whole process parts of setting up the plots not using a full size tractor with full size disc on a 50 acre plot like you see on some of the shows on TV

    good work, keep it up

I am very impressed sir. A suggestion. If you can please post you episodes after they air like nock on TV and some others do. Mainly because we don't have TV.

Haha! Looks like it doesn't it. That was one of my guys 6 year old son. He has a ghillie suit as well. They're sitting together in one shot. It's pretty cool looking. I'm sure his son loves that suit!

Thanks for all the kind remarks guys!
