I just got a place to hunt on Saturday last week and put out my camera and these two bucks were the first thing I got pics of and hunted today and saw both bucks and passed on the smaller one hoping for a shot at the big one. PS if I had hunted all day as I usually do on the first day I would of killed the big one. Check out the dates and times. I think he is in the 150's after seeing him on the hoof (he is huge bodied) the pics don't give either deer any justice even the smaller nine I seen him at 10 yards and he is a lot bigger than he looks in the pics. carnest 012.jpg carnest 013.jpg carnest 016.jpg carnest 027.jpg carnest 028.jpg carnest 029.jpg carnest 056.jpg carnest 058.jpg carnest 059.jpg

I was thinking 140s but I'm not very good at this.

Pretty sweet seeing an old mature deer like that on its feet during daylight this time of year! I'd say your real close on you guess, the smaller one in the mid 130's and the larger in the upper 140's low 150's, beautiful deer and great pictures! Best of luck, stay after him!

Thanks guys I am thinking the same as yall (140's to 150's). I been passing the big nine up and don't know how much longer I can do it. I have seen both deer everyday since Saturday and still cant get close enough to shoot the big ten but the nine pointer is getting close to being shot. Here are a few pictures from the last couple days between 10 and 14.5 yrds from my stand. Any guess how old the nine and ten are? I think the nine is 4.5 and the ten is 5.5 to 6.5. Any body got any ideals it would help alot.

The smallest one facing the camera 105 area. The other two the short tine one in the 115 area. The biggest one. Right around 135 area.

You really think that low on the 10 pointer? I thought a lot higher but that's why I ask cause I aint that good at scoring just from pictures ( I usually need the antlers to measure ha ha ). Thanks for the post. I hope to test our judgements soon.

That big 10 Is In that 150 Inch range. Nice tine length on him, great buck! That last pic Is tough to tell. I'd say some where In that 115 Inch range.

Well you were the closest to the score I shot the 10 pointer today and he gross scored 126 3/4 and netted 122 1/2. I am really wanting a 150" buck now cause this 10 looked pretty big to me. Thanks for your opinions on this deer. carnest 009.jpg carnest 010.jpg carnest 011.jpg carnest 027.jpg

I just went to the pope and young web site and printed a score chart and went by it. I think I did it right I might be wrong but it looked simple enough.

Thanks, I been passing on the smaller ones for years and it don't always pay off for me either. I just got to a point now that at least I let it grow up so someone else will have the opportunity to shoot it.

Well my wife shot the wide nine pointer and I scored him at 105 3/8. I guess them deer look way bigger on trail cameras than in your hands. Tammys deer 005.jpg Tammys deer 006.jpg Tammys deer 007.jpg Tammys deer 008.jpg
