Seems like I have a big load of stuff I bring into the stand. Along with my climber, I have a backpack of stuff like clothes, knives, saw, lights, plus my harness and bow. It all adds up to a big, non stealthy load to carry. I'm trying to reduce the equipment, but it seems like I should have everything I bring in. What do you folks carry in for a sit?

Being that my favorite spot has a ladder stand that has been there for 15 years, I don't take much. Water, food, binos, and a camera are about all I need for an all day sit.

I usually carry a bottle of water (not plastic lol), bow, lock blade kershaw drop point boning knife hehe, and ciggarette's.

If I decide to camp a spot I'll pack in a light weight climber with an old corn knife to trim tree.

My favorite stand is already in the woods. In that case, in my pack, I'll take an extra pair of gloves or backlava depending on the weather (if it's nice, niether), a call or two, binos if I remember them, cover scent, and some gatoraide.
I try to keep it light as possible. As the weather goes, so does the pack.

I've tried the backpack thing and it's just something else in the way.

If it doesn't fit in pockets or around my neck it doesn't go.

I generally have just about everything mentioned in this thread. No saw, lanes are already cut.

It is so much easier to reach into a pocket when deer are around than it is to try and rummage through a pack.

    Usually have:
    Grunt call
    Can call
    Knife
    Rattle bag
    Buck bomb(cover scent)
    Gatorade
    Snickers
    Phone charger
    Deer dander
    Facemask and gloves
