In life, what are some of the things you have totally accomplished on your own? (No help from anyone)

Driving my wife nuts. She may say the kids help, but she is just trying to take credit away from me. I work too hard to not get full credit!

Today I was carrying an armload of laundry and while I walked through a doorway, I turned to look down and behind me (to see if I dropped anything) and managed to smash the side of my head on the door frame. Go me!

    It's a gift. :p

Surely MGH, if you have never done but one thing on your own, you at least had to screw up something.

I've screwed up plenty. I'll take credit for those.

I was referring to accomplishments with my original answer.

I needed to get the cap off of my truck so I could buy some fence panels.

I can't just grab the thing and take it off..... so.....

    done!

It was windy and the thing was still standing when I got home from the store. Wooot... woot. Was able to back under it and clamp it back down. :D

(Professional driver on closed course... don't try this at home)

help create my kids, without a doubt my biggest acomplishment. And finding a woman who can tolerate me was pretty impressive as well.

I've made it through (almost) 6 seasons of deer hunting without having to take a dump in the woods.

You figure God had a hand (and needs acknowledgement for) in my momentary constipatory glory?

    Just curious.

Wow...I failed at this task :(

Once while turkey hunting, 2 seasons ago. Once this season on a morning hunt, which proved interesting, but, not as bad as Gri22lys dump story :)

I think when we all sit and think about it.....there is not much we have accomplished soley on our own. Someone else has played a role on what we have accomplished and where we are today. Just my $.02.
