    Damn.

I order from Amazon all the time. I just don't have time sometimes to go to stores, so I order stuff constantly.

Out of shampoo and garden fertilizer? Who wants to go to Lowes and Target. Just go to Amazon and it will be at my door in 2 days.

Why not visit them when you stop by the butcher and the farmer's market? It's LA, there has to be a Walmart, Sam's, Cotsco around every corner.:D

I also should add I don't do the shopping. My wife does. I'll let her make all the shopping decisions when it comes to household goods, food, etc., Like I said, though (I know you don't have them down there), Wegman's has pretty much everything we need at the same price point or better with discounts and she's already there 5 days a week. They even have an extensive Allergen friendly section (and whole foods/organic section) which is huge for me with my diet that I have to be on. Makes sense to me.

However, I'm saving myself a trip to both Lowe's and Sears to update my in truck toolkit. Saving some dollar's and running around for a few wrenches, pliers, and sockets. Amazon is a good thing for sure.

I also get a shipment with some other low/no sugar protein bars (I can't do sugar) and some 99% isopropyl alcohol (used for reloading).

The nearest walmart is 35 miles away and the Costco is 44 miles. Even with the Tactical Prius, it makes sense to buy a lot of stuff online rather than wasting time and fuel trying to find it. (plus.. I have to go to the *gasp* CITY... boo for wading through mass quantities of people.) :D

Now which is it? Extra stops or mingling with the peasants?

I buy stuff off Amazon, and will have to look into the Subscribe and Save. With twins diapers/wipes/formula are purchased in bulk...but we also get other discounts for having multiples.

Wow. Those 3 are worth checking out if you haven't already.

The subscribe and save does sound tempting if/once we have kids. My wife won't be in the shopping mood all of the time if I had to guess, and I don't want to have to shop:D

The only thing tempting about it is to avoid the crowds that typically shop at SAMs and Walmart and the like....

That's the very reason I pay $25 more for the same cart of groceries at publix... To avoid the people of Walmart lol

I always wait until I get to work. Never do for free now what you can get paid to do later.

Seriously, I use Amazon a lot... I will have to check out the Subscribe and Save option... wasn't aware of it.

Dog food, soap, shampoo, deo, paper towels, Kleenex, girly products, razors, TP, tooth paste are just a few off the top of my head that I know my wife subscribes to. I'm sure there is more.

So my I sat down with my wife last night and we looked into this. Needless to say you have opened Pandora’s box with this. My wife loves the idea and is going crazy getting set up on purchasing our consumables this way.

    Thanks Hook!

People mention paper towels, you can get paper towels at WallyWorld for $1 a roll, that isn't really a savings at all from what I an seeing on Amazon.

Ax Phoenix Deoderant, 2 pack $8.45 on Amazon S&S price is $6.97 at Wally World.

Explain to me why I am misunderstanding... Thanks.

You have to have a certain number of items shipping per month, paper towels counts as one of those items so you can get the items that are cheaper...and they are shipped to your house....and you don't have to deal with the people of wal mart. Heck, that's got to be worth something.
