I am hunting in northwest Ohio. I want to sit in the stand all day but it gets to cold for me(after 5+ hrs). I wear compression base layers out to the stand and then layer up. my boots are 600 gram thinsulate. I was recommended the heater body suit but I will pass on that scheme. I am thinking more wool maybe... any ideas?

I would try some warmer boots. Maybe 1,000 or 1,200 gram along with good quality socks.
