I'm thinking about getting some predator camo....what I'm thinking, is to get a pair of pants and an oversize T-shirt....then making a small slit in the back of the T-shirt, so I can wear my safety harness under it by sliding the strap thru the slit.....

My safety harness is a vest type and will cover the camo pattern....thus, I'm thinking of cutting a slit.....

    Anyone do this ?

    THanks,

I have my jackets made with a sewn-in grommet for the tether to slide through. But, one of the reasons I went to the muddy harness - was because the vest (HSS) was WAYYYyyy too hot. The Muddy harness is minimal, so I wear it over my shirts in the early season.

You gonna wear your vest against your skin?

nopeee, haven't tried that. My hunters safety system blends in with my camo pretty good.

I cut holes in all of my outer wear that don't already have them for that same reason. I wear my harness under my outer layer and got sick of the tether pulling down on my collar. Works fine for me.

Nope....I'm thinking of getting an oversize T-shirt to be my final outer layer....20 bucks for a t is better than 100 for a jacket....

So, you're gonna wear ANOTHER layer?

Good luck. Your early season must be different than mine!

I guess you could say that....

I'll wear a hot wx base t-...my harness, then the oversize....and have my camel back loaded with ice cold gator aid....
