Something for broadhead collectors. Look similar to the old Browning Serpintine heads from years past. They never caught on either.

    G5 Montecs for me.

Got mine today. I'm not a supporter yet, just an interested hunter. Seems solid and pretty well build. They also offer replacement individual blades, (9 for $15 on ebay) so sharpening the curved edges isn't that big of a deal. I understand the concern of a 7/8 cut versus a 2.5 cut. Yes, you have a better chance an an artery but I would also be happy taking a 7/8 core cut through both lungs. I am interested to see how if performs when hitting bone. Obviously, I cannot speak for every bow but will get out in the morning and shoot a little and see if I notice any whistling. This very well could end up being a novelty item but I'll try anything once. Twice if I like it.

Once I see the reviews this season I may switch to them. I was skeptical on the rage broadheads when they first came out but once i seen what they did i switched from the Muzzy 4 blades to the rage 2 blades and haven't looked back yet. If i see these do better than the Rage extreme 2 blades (which i had crazy blood trails both times i shot deer with them last year) i may switch

I have been shooting them while practicing and I have not noticed any whistling at all. It is tough to determine how they will penetrate a big game animal but they eat up targets. Great coring abilities but I still do not know how well they will handle bone and such. I am hoping to get a chance at an early season doe with these. I still plan on having my Solid broadheads in the quiver this year for the bucks.

A bit late but I got them today, can't complain since I got them for free. I will see about testing asap. Sent a few down range at the target and there was no whistling, and they hit the same mark as my field points.

I saw one of these for the first time in person this past weekend. I think it will take a heavy arrow but, will be devastating.

I did the equation a while back i forget if it was 75.82 or 78.52 pounds of kinetic energy I'm pushing.

Just redid the numbers, kinetic energy is 78.1969 and momentum is 0.54303, I couldn't even begin to tell ya if that's a good momentum.

I was curious about them and got a set a week ago and have been shooting them a bunch. They hit pretty close to me to be satisfied with for grouping. I'm taking them with me hoping to stick a bear with them. Hopefully I'll have some results to show since I haven't seen anyone with animal shots yet, and it would mean I shot something.

Thank ya and good luck to you too. Are you planning on using them for bear or deer or just trying them out to experiment?

At the moment just testing, most likely deer but bear is definitely a possibility.

if I'm not mistaken the season is open in a few western states now. We ought to start seeing vids on youtube soon. If not, then maybe they are more hype than substance. If I was marketing the head, I would want as many kill shots on deer sized game as possible hitting the airwaves prior to October.

There's some pics on their Facebook page. Kills look good. Granted with advertising of just about anything it usually takes time for more to come out good or bad. I figured I want to try and see what it does for myself anyway.

That's what I am thinking as well. I have them on the end of a few of my arrows and will hopefully get a chance to put something down with them.

I got these right before the spring turkey hunt and was kind of skeptical, until I got my first bird with them and saw the damage that they inflicted on that bird. The blades on contact flex open a little bit causing a larger cutting area while leaving a huge gaping whole in the animal. If you are considering these at all they are a must have and incredibly deadly (like the name says TOXIC).

One of my buddies went to help drag out a bear a couple days ago that was shot with one. He said it was stuck in the opposite shoulder, it hit bone. As soon as I see pics you will too. He said it ran a total of sixty yards.
