I bet a head like this would work great on animals like bear, animals that have more fat and long hair that tends to reduce bleeding. How did those heads work Dan?

Honestly, no idea. They were always up fishing or gun hunting for deer. Never Bowhunting.

I'd love to see a comparison test on an actual carcass between Rage 2 blade and the Toxics!

Because a carcass is so easily procured in April:wave:

I'm sure the heads will leave a hell of a hole, but..... What about when you hit a shoulder, or square up a rib on an elk? The only way I would shoot that head is if I had the DL capabilities to push a 500grn arrow at 290fps+

Drive down any backroad in this county...dead roadkill deer along every single one! I do agree that penetration could be an issue with these. Chisel point has to help though.

Those blades will still hang up on bone, chisel tip or not. I would hate to see how it performs in those "oh $hit" moments.

The Toxic penetrated deeper than the field point? I'm surprised by that!

Ime, most broadheads do in a foam style target. They cut instead of push.

I have to say that is generally true but all of the foam from the target was pushed in and cut.
When I pulled the arrows a $.50 coin size hole was in the target and all of the foam came right out with them.
I was honestly impressed with it. flew true and made no noise at all. After I seperated them I shot it again and it hit the mark dead on. I think I might use on for turkey next week and see how it goes.

Holy crap! Did it fly as straight as your field tip? Or did you need to adjust your sight like if it was a fixed blade?
